Megan’s friend Maddy asked if she wanted to go to the bar to play some pool with her brother Caison and his friend, Ryan. They met and instantly couldn’t stop looking at each other. They played pool and darts all night long and were getting flirty with each other. They started spending more time together. Megan really liked Ryan but worried that their age difference meant we were at different points in our lives. But Ryan was dead set on Megan and told people that she was the love of his life. He was constantly trying to win over Megan and asking her to be his girlfriend. He asked about 3 times, and she said no and that she was afraid that it wouldn’t work out because of the age difference. He decided that he wanted to "grow up" in hopes that Megan would be ready to commit and see that the age difference didn’t matter. Ryan changed careers and stopped partying so much to show her that he wanted to make this a relationship that would last. A tragic event happened to their friends in June of 2022. They leaned on each other and grieved together. Ryan was there every day and night by Megan’s side to be of comfort to her, and he never left. After spending almost every day together for 7 months and falling in love with him, Megan was finally ready to make it official. On October 2nd of 2022, she asked him to be her boyfriend with a basket of his favorite things and a note that said: “Will you officially be our moms mans? -Rhino, Kyle, Opie”. Ryan said yes and they had their own little family with the cats Rhino, Kylo, and Sibby, and the Corgi, Opie. They met each other's families and were easily accepted by both sides. They went on trips together and made everyday special with each other. Everyday has been heavenly together with their playfulness and always putting each other first. On December 20, 2024, they decided to give each other some Christmas presents early. They gave each other the gifts and Ryan said he had one last gift for her that he didn’t wrap but was going to hide for her to find. While Megan was in another room, Ryan tied a scroll to Opie’s collar that had a clue for Megan. It took Megan about 5 minutes of walking around the house to notice the scroll on Opie’s collar in the living room. She opened it up and read the note saying: “Mom! Dad wants us to officially be The Hoffmans!!” She turned around and Ryan was down on one knee holding her dream black diamond ring. No words came out of his mouth, just tears and a smile. She immediately fell to the floor with him and said yes! It was the most perfect and intimate moment at home with the cats and Opie. It was everything she could have asked for! #TheLastVowOfHoffman
