We met on my visit back home to Haiti on 4/15, returning home after leaving nearly 20 years ago. My brother Samuel invited him to Easter at our home in the province where we have a big carnival as our annual Easter celebration. This man was starring at me, and his his hands was always sweaty,I think I made him nervous. My vocation became about him as we sneaked our way to spend time with each other. My family were behaving as if I was a little girl, not wanting me to be alone with him. The 2nd Trip to Haiti Anyway we kept in touch as I return back to Chicago where is now my home. I went back to Haiti to visit six months later for my bday, we had a beautiful time and bonded so well that's when we knew he had to move to Chicago where we can be together. We struggled a long 2 years with our long distance relationship, he always say let this be the only struggle that we have to go threw ...boy if only marriage could b that easy.
