We met in 7th grade at Dixon Middle School and became part of the same friend group. In high school, we went to school dances together and dated on and off. After graduation, we both left to serve missions for the Church of Jesus Christ—Reyna in April 2021 and Nick in June. During our missions, Reyna went to Florida and Mexico, while Nick served in Ohio. While we were away, we lost touch and decided to date other people once we got home. We reconnected in January 2024 at Sadie's (Nick's sister) homecoming from her mission in Kansas, and things picked up right where we left off! Over the next two months, we casually dated and realized how deeply in love we were. We officially started dating on March 22, 2024 and feel so blessed to marry each other March 2025!
