U.S. citizens traveling to Cebu must have a valid U.S. passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of arrival in the Philippines. No visa is required for stays of 30 days or less for tourism purposes. If you plan to stay longer, you may need to apply for an extension or a visa before traveling. Be sure to check with the Philippine embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date entry requirements before your trip.
Yes! The hotel will provide shuttle service for guests from the lobby to the ceremony venue. It’s about a 10-minute walk, but with the heat, we highly recommend taking the shuttle. Hotel staff will be available in the lobby to escort guests to the shuttle.

If you plan on exploring, it’s easy to arrange transportation through your hotel/resort. Hotels also offer shuttle services for group outings or excursions. January and February are among the coolest months of the year. Temperatures are around 75F to 88F. Cebu’s coastal location provides sea breezes that offer a slight cooling effect. We still recommend bringing a handheld fan to help stay comfortable during outdoor events.
The official currency of Cebu is the Philippine Peso (PHP). Most major hotels, restaurants, and shops accept credit cards, but it’s always good to have some local currency on hand for smaller purchases or in more remote areas. Always choose Philippine pesos (the local currency) for the best exchange rate with credit cards.
