We met in December of 2022. Zach just moved back to Wichita to start the police academy. We met through some mutual friends one night at club rodeo. Anyhow, our story started out as friends, but I knew we were more. I had just finished college, and Zach had began the start to his career for WPD--we both knew it wasn't the time to start a relationship. We became dance partners at our local bar, where we'd dance on the weekends. As time passed, we remained good friends and it took some convincing from my grandmother for me to give Zach a chance. Stubborn, you could say. One night at the bar, in October of 2023, I told Zach, "I think I like you." he looked at me and said, "let's do this, I'm all in. If we work we work, if we don't.. we could say we tried." Well, I'd say it worked. We got engaged in May of 2025 🩷
