She is my inspiration and I hope to achieve as much in life like her. We have seen each other in some up and downs and she will always be there for me like I will for her. The day Amy told me about Mauro there was a different brightness in her smile. When I met Mauro he was shy, but his personality slowly showed. He is a very funny, free spirit man. You can't help his charm, he will definitely put a smile on your face. I am so honored and happy to be apart of the union of Amy and Mauro. Mauro and George met at Texas State while they were both attending Bobcat Awakening. They are fraternity brothers whose friendship and brotherhood grew. They have shared many memories from playing intramural football and watching sports together. George works at a gun range and loves the Cowboys.

Hi, my name is Tanya. I am the groom's sister and a bridesmaid :) When I first met Amy, I knew she was the one for my brother. I knew I'd "lose" him eventually, but I gained a sister instead. Amy and I have drawn closer as the years have gone by. I love her for loving and accepting my brother just as he is. We've enjoyed many things together such as an ACTS retreat, Spurs games, concerts, nights out, shopping, and making fun of Mauro. I'm so excited to share many more moments with her and Mauro as they become one.

I met Amy my first year at Texas State, Fall of 2015, while I was rushing for Mu Epsilon Theta. She became my sorority big sister and my FOREVER friend.  From sister nights to Dance Across Texas (RIP DAT). Going to church together and in times of advice, she is the best BIG sister I could have asked for and one of my BEST friends. Growing up, Amy was always the sweetest little cousin I could’ve asked for. We have stuck nearby one another since we were kids (literally--our parents live only one street apart)! With us being only a year apart in age as well, Amy and I went to the same schools growing up. We were both attending Texas State University when Amy told me about Mauro and I knew from the start she had found someone very special. Their love story is beautiful and has been centered around God from the start. With a love like theirs, matched with such a beautiful foundation, I know it is built to last a lifetime. God truly crafted them for one another and I am so excited to see them become one in marriage soon! Amy is Germaine's grand little and they started to get know each other during events and grew closer together after college as they both started their careers in the same city. They now love to get together and try new restaurants and bars around town.

Amy is not only my cousin, but my best friend. I have known Amy all of my life. We are only one year apart and grew up together. I always remember the good times we had from staying with each other every other weekend and sharing all the laughs, cries and fights we had. No matter what we had each other's back. Who would have thought that years after, she would be one that I am stilling enjoying life with! Amy is a kind, intelligent, strong woman. I will always have someone special to count and she can count on me. I am thankful for all the awesome memories we shared and can't wait to make more!

Amy and I met while rushing ΜΕΘ at Texas State. I knew she would be a forever friend when I noticed all the things we had in common. We got even closer when we became roommates the next year. I witnessed Amy and Mauro’s love early in the relationship and would love hearing all about their dates. Sometimes they’d even include me on their “pizza dates” when Mauro would bring pizza home for dinner. LOL! Amy, I know you will be a beautiful bride/wife and Mauro, a true gentleman/husband. From the beginning, everyone knew this was true love. This relationship is genuine, it’s what people would say “Goals” to.
