Their story began with glances and not so subtle, but unseen staring on the Clearwater Bay. Heather worked as a pirate and would watch as a Jason Momoa type wild haired man flew across the water past the ship. Every time she caught a glance, she'd stare and wonder who that was. Tyler would watch her as the ship came in, standing on the bow of the ship, hair in the wind, swinging the bow line and chatting to people, or watching the water, completely unaware she was being watched. It was one short conversation with a mutual friend at the jet skis that sparked the match. Tyler asked his friend who she was and if he knew if she was single. That friend called Heather one night and asked if he could share her number. Unfortunately he immediately forgot he asked, and never shared it or told Tyler he'd talked to her. A week later, while walking to get a snack, that same friend quite literally snatched her off the sidewalk and said "this is the boy I was telling you about" That was when their eyes met for the first time. With Tyler's mouth full of Shepards pie and a shocked look on his face, unaware that the friend had spoken to her, Tyler couldn't think of what to say. Their friend said "You two should go on a date." With a confidence Heather didn't know she had, she said "I've never been on a jetski. You should take me." Her crew warned her of "the jetski boys" and their womanizing ways. 3 hours later, she sat on the back of that ski, afraid to touch him, but unable to stop talking. Tyler, who likes talking to no stranger, also found himself unable to keep quiet. He was no womanizing jetski boy, she knew it. He was gentle, and kind, and respectful. They spent every moment they could together, sitting at the marina falling in love. They didn't follow anyones timeline but their own, their souls knowing they were tied instantly. On January 19th, 2025, Heather took a test she knew she'd passed. A positive pregnancy test, and no feeling of fear to be found in either of them. Along came the biggest test of love yet. In some of the hardest moments of Heather's life, there sat Tyler with his gentle eyes and warm hands. Never wavering when she needed his strength, he carried her through when her body and mind couldn't. If she didn't know it already (and she did), she was absolutely and unequivocally in love with him. Along came their greatest pride, joy and happiness, Atlas. Their story is one of untraditional timelines, unwavering certainty, and a love that cannot be expressed in words. The adventure is only beginning, and it is sure to continue to be one that can only be sculpted by a Pirate and a wild haired man.
