We're getting married!

We were in parallel circles for a long time; Rey is Hosho’s sister, and Hosho began dating Jesse’s good friend, Tam. We knew of each other, had heard stories about the other, and knew that we would likely be good friends over our known love of Lord of the Rings. We even saw each other briefly across the room at a local concert a couple of months before Tam and Hosho's wedding in September of 2020. At their wedding, it was like a scene out of a movie: Rey came up the stairs, and Jesse saw her, immediately struck by her. She thought he was adorable (the "ginginess" didn’t hurt, either). Fast-forward few months to mid-October. It’s still the pandemic, and Jesse is invited over by Hosho to her sister's house for an impromptu movie night. And that’s how it started: a kiss while watching Lord of the Rings. Who could have planned it better? As time passed, we built a family: 5 cats, trips in the U.S. and out, and countless memories. We're excited to have you join us for a future our core memory - our WEDDING DAY!

The wedding will begin at 7 p.m on 2/22/2025 at Vinings Lake Church: 75 Cooper Lake Rd SE, Mableton, GA 30126. The event is indoors, and attire is black-tie optional.
