FAQs

Question

Is there a welcome party?

Answer

Yes! We're hosting a casual welcome party on Friday, August 7, from 6:30–9:00 PM at Meadowlark Brewing. All wedding guests are invited. This is a relaxed, come-and-go gathering before the wedding, so feel free to stop by if you're in town!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible! However, the deadline is 6 weeks before our big day - June 27, 2026. If we don't receive an RSVP by this date we will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide final guest count to our venue in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are specifically invited. If you have a plus one, you’ll see their name on your invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only the people named on your invitation attend. Thanks so much for understanding!

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony will start outside, but don’t worry, the reception will be indoors with air conditioning to keep everyone comfy. Since it’s Montana in August, be sure to dress for the weather (and wear that deodorant!)

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is outdoors in Montana, and the vibe is garden party meets Montana charm. Think sundresses, florals, light fabrics, comfortable but polished looks. Cowboy boots are absolutely welcome (this is Montana!), but we kindly ask guests to skip casual everyday wear. When in doubt, it’s better to be slightly dressed up. We’d love everyone to feel festive, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Where should I bring/send my wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us - that’s the greatest gift we could ask for! Since we’re traveling from out of state to Billings for the wedding, we kindly ask that any gifts be sent to our home via our registry rather than brought to the wedding. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers who will capture every special moment for you! However, at the very beginning of the ceremony, the officiant will invite guests to take a few photos on cue before the ceremony officially starts. After that, please enjoy the moment and leave the photography to our pros. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful, distraction-free experience for everyone!

Question

What time should I arrive? Is there parking available?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time park, walk to the ceremony space, and find a seat. The venue has plenty of parking in both an upper and lower lot. The lower lot allows you to leave your car parked overnight if needed - especially if you plan to enjoy some drinks. Additionally, for anyone who needs assistance, we’ll have a golf cart to help shuttle guests from their cars to the ceremony area.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Bringing your own alcohol is strictly NOT allowed anywhere on the venue property - including parking lots and cars. No tailgating, no drinking in vehicles, no exceptions. If this rule is broken, the couple will be fined $100 per offense, and the venue will be notified immediately. This fine comes directly out of our damage deposit, so it’s in everyone’s best interest to follow the rules. We want everyone to have a great time, but violating this policy will have serious consequences. Please respect the venue’s rules and help us avoid any issues!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We want everyone to feel taken care of and enjoy the food - if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’ll do our best to accommodate you!

Question

I have a question about the wedding the week/day of. Who should I contact?

Answer

During wedding week and the day of, the couple will be plenty busy with other things and importantly, soaking everything in. So, please direct any and ALL questions to members of our family and wedding party. Thanks!
