We're getting married!

We met on a medical mission trip to Ghana during our time at UC Davis. We did not have the best first impressions of each other; Eric's first words to me were telling me to move my seat back forward in the plane to get it off his knees as I was dozing off. However, we were assigned to work in the same group and got to talking. On the second evening of our trip, we both wanted to watch the lightning storms over the water. We don't remember the conversations we had that night, but we haven't run out of things to talk about since.

We planned a trip to India for Eric to meet the rest of the family. We thought it would be fun to have a stopover in Paris. While strolling though the Montmartre district, with the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur behind us, Eric got down on one knee and popped the question. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Santa Barbara!
