Our wedding is not black-tie, but we kindly ask that you dress appropriately for a church ceremony. Gentlemen are welcome to wear any suit, with or without a tie. Ladies, please feel free to wear a dress in which you feel both elegant and comfortable enough to dance the night away.
Our take on the transition from Ceremony to Cocktail Hour: Given the nature of Houston traffic, we recommend proceeding directly from the church ceremony to the reception venue. Please allow yourself ample time for travel to ensure you arrive comfortably for cocktail hour. There is no need to make additional stops—such as returning to your hotel—unless absolutely necessary.
Church Parking Information: There is a small parking lot located at the corner of Westheimer and Shepherd Drive. However, we recommend using the larger parking garage accessible via Kingston Drive. To reach it more easily, consider approaching from the back of the church using either Kingston Drive or Fairview Street. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking and be seated in the church before the ceremony begins. If you enter through the side of the church, printed programs will be available at the back of the sanctuary.
Parking at Heaven on Earth is limited, so we encourage guests to carpool if possible. Once the main lot fills up (between Douglas and Louisiana Street), additional parking is available on the nearby side streets off Douglas, Louisiana, and 3rd Street. Please be mindful of the narrow roads when parking. There will also be a parking attendant to assist in parking at the beginning of the evening.
Cocktail hour will take place in the reception hall at Heaven on Earth, accessible through the patio entrance facing the parking lot.
