One night I had just got home from the bar and met Reuben outside of our mutual Friends house, I had never met him before but I liked what I saw! We shared some great conversation and exchanged numbers. Reuben lived in Gilroy at the time so when he would come down he would text me, and one time he asked if I would like to go on a street bike ride. I was terrified of street bikes but went anyway... Reuben ended up going about 140 mph and scared the hell out of me; had a lot of thinking to do but knew he was the one despite scaring me on his bike. After a year of being together and moving to Colorado and back, Reuben asked me for my hand in marriage and the rest is history.

This was such a great kept secret. The entire Stewart family decided to go up to Bothell, Washington to celebrate Christmas 2017, little did I know Reuben had a lot more in store than just Christmas. Our family had a great Christmas; exchanging stories and watching my nephews and niece open up all of there gifts we got them. We then had a family dinner later that night with my cousins that also live in Washington. The following day we all decided to go to this BEAUTIFUL place called Leavenworth, WA it's a little German town that really gets into the spirit of Christmas with lights, snow sleds, and joyful music. After getting a drink and a bite to eat the whole family wanted to take pictures in front of this amazing,light filled tree backdrop. At that moment everything changed, as I was standing there waiting for Reuben to come take a picture with me, i look over to my left and there he is on ONE KNEE! i was in complete "ah" like is this really happening! omg omg omg!!!! He then smiles up at me and says " Treanna i love you so much, will you please marry me???" I bursting into happy tears yelled "YEEEESSSS" we kissed and celebrated the rest of the night! The feeling i got when he asked me to be his forever is something i hope to never forget. I'm so happy to be his fiance and to spend the rest of my life with him.
