About Us

It all started with a random midnight dm to get late night frozen yogurt in 2018. Amy and I went to junior high together for one year. I was friends with some of Amy’s friends, and Amy was friends with my sister, but ironically Amy and I never spoke to each other. 8 years later, after a bad Utah Jazz loss, I impromptu invited Amy to get some frozen yogurt to console me after the depressing game. Amy with a service-oriented nurse's heart accepted, though hesitantly, as we had never really talked and it was clearly late. That one quick 45-minute date turned into 3 days in a row of seeing each other. We definitely took our time, as that was 3 years ago. We were both growing and trying to figure out who we were, but no matter how many times we thought we would go in different directions, we would always come back to each other. A little about us - Amy is in nursing school right now and will graduate next Spring, but will likely not be out of the classroom for long as she intends to get her BSN shortly after. She’s currently working for Intermountain Healthcare at Utah Valley Hospital in the Respiratory and Sepsis unit. She recently found her passion as an avid runner - 8 races down with many more to come. She loves in n out, lady gaga, and Christmas music year around. I graduate in May and will move out to Washington DC this summer for an internship in management consulting. If all pans out, we’ll be moving out to DC after she graduates to work for that firm, with graduate school eventually on the horizon. Currently, I work for MX, a growing tech startup here in Utah County. Much of my spare time is spent skiing, going to physical therapy because of that love for skiing, and religiously following heated ESPN debates between Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith. We’re excited to continue traveling together, experience the joys of life, and yes, probably a few more frozen yogurt trips to console me after Jazz losses.
