One of our favorite things to do is to go to the Oshkosh Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. The farmers market is location downtown Oshkosh and has a ton of stands to shop around at. A few of our favorite stops are Xiongs Eggrolls, Zoua's food truck, Thunderbird Bakery, Elsewhere Market & Coffeehouse, and Blue Moon Cafe. Can you tell we love food?
Elsewhere Market & Coffee Shop is one of our favorite coffee spots in downtown Oshkosh. Elsewhere has a fun seasonal coffee menu and is known for their signature drinks like the Vietnamese iced coffee. They also have delicious pastries and a cute market to browse with your coffee.
For the Airplane or History Enthusiasts: Every year Oshkosh hosts the EAA Airventure event for 2 weeks at the end of July. This event is for air enthusiasts, families, and everyone in between. During this time, more than 10,000 planes and more than 677,000 spectators travel to Oshkosh throughout the event. While our wedding won't fall during EAA, there is an amazing Museum on the EAA grounds that is full of great history and exhibits.
Menominee Park is one of our favorite places to walk through. There is a great walking path along the lake but they also have a little zoo and pickle ball courts in case you wanted to get a quick game in!
The Paine Art Center & Gardens always has events and exhibits going on. Jake and I went to The Paine for their "Celebration of Light" event during winter and it was very cool. I would definitely check out their website to see what they going on the weekend of August 9th!
