What is the weather like?

Answer

It is the middle of summer - so, expect heat and humidity. It will be cooler in Mussoorie but, prepare for the heat.

Is this an alcohol free wedding?

Answer

Yes, we both don't drink and we would appreciate it if this is respected

What is the ceremony going to be like?

Answer

The ceremony is a Pentecostal Christian ceremony - it should be about an hour and will include worship and a word of encouragement, along with prayer and vows.

What is the reception like?

Answer

We will have different activities and food stations. Food is served buffet style as is typical for Indian weddings in India and we will be having both Indian and American dishes.

What is the best way to get to Dehradun?

Answer

Fly into Delhi and then take a 30 minute flight to Dehradun. There is also the option to take an overnight train if you'd like to experience that OR you can take an uber or car from Delhi which would be 5-6 hours.

Will I need a visa?

Answer

If you are travelling form outside India and are not a citizen or don't have an OCI - YES. There are many options but, we recommend a travel evisa which you can take for 30 days or an year.
