We initially met back in elementary school! We were in the same classes most of our life and always were friends but it wasn't until senior year of high school we started liking each other and officially start dating. We were long distance for about a year when we went to separate colleges but eventually he transferred over to UGA (GO DAWGS) and the rest is history. After we graduated, I went on to graduate school and wanted him to wait to propose till I finished graduate school and as soon as I graduated, we were in the middle of a pandemic.... :( He knew I would want all my friends and family to be able to celebrate with me after he proposed so he waited until things got a little better to plan the proposal. It may not have been our initial timeline but it was absolutely perfect. <3 I had always talked about visiting New York one day since I had never been there we planned a trip to explore the city, but little did I know he had a whole different plan in mind! He not only planned the perfect proposal on top of The Edge with a secret photographer, who pretended to be a newbie needing some practice shots and just happened to run into us. But he also got almost 50 of my family and close friends to fly out all the way to New York (without me ever finding out) to surprise me!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect proposal weekend to be able to say YES to my future life partner. We are so excited to celebrate with all of our family & friends!
