What is the weather like?

Answer

Monterey is a mild Mediterranean climate with summer highs rarely exceeding the low 70s. The area is known for its marine layer fog, especially in mornings, which can linger until early afternoon. Carmel-by-the-Sea is very close to the bay but slightly more sheltered. Layers are a good idea! Carmel Valley is warmer and drier with loads of sunshine compared to the coast.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

For the most enjoyable experience getting to Bernardus, we recommend renting a car. Plus, seeing the peninsula at your own pace is a fantastic way to discover every area. That said, Uber is an easy alternative. Please keep in mind that the heart of Carmel Valley is about a 20-minute drive inland from Monterey.

Am I allowed to take photos during your Wedding Ceremony?

We'd like our guests to be fully present and not distracted by personal devices. Our vendors want to get the best possible shots without the interference of flash or cell phone screens.
