Here are a few fun places in the valley if you’re hanging around all weekend. There’s plenty to do in downtown Boise and the surrounding area.

Right next to the Old Pen is the beautiful Idaho Botanical Gardens. Super fun to wander through.

Julia Davis Park has access to the Boise River Greenbelt, another great attraction in Boise. Zoo Boise is also located in this area.

Super fun, not too challenging hike right next to the old pen. Great views of Boise. An excellent sunrise and sunset hike.

Our favorite bar lounge is in Nampa. Tyler recommends the Sicilian nachos, and I recommend the truffle fries.
