There is bound to be free time and if you wish to explore a bit while you are here, we made a list of some of our favorite locations in the area.

Wilson's Orchard is a fun way to experience fall. You can go apple and pumpkin picking but they have some tasty fall treats as well. I suggest going to try their turnovers and sweet cider. It's worth the trip.

If you are into PokemonGo or just want to explore the Pedestrian Mall is the place to be. Located in downtown Iowa City, the Pedestrian Mall has a variety of stores, street art, occasional street performers, and a variety of food throughout.

Heyn's ice cream is a favorite treat of Alex and mine. It has a variety of flavors and just across the street is a gazebo and park. It's a very relaxing place to sit and enjoy yourself outside.

If historical is more your style, this outdoor area has marked fossils and information regarding their discovery and what you are looking at. This place is outdoors so wear weather appropriate attire and comfortable shoes.
