Are there travel restrictions to and from Chicago?

Answer

Yes. To avoid a 10-day quarantine, you are required to prove a negative, diagnostic COVID-19 test (not an antibody test) taken no more than 72-hours in advance of travel. Please find more details here: https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/sites/covid-19/home/emergency-travel-order.html

What COVID-related precautions will be in place?

Answer

1. We have reduced our guest list to 25 people. 2. We will practice social distancing as best we can. 3. Masks will be required for all guests and vendors. That being said, Reno & Ashley will not wear masks during the ceremony, and guests can remove masks while seated and dining/drinking, unless servers approach at which time we ask that guests put masks back on. 4. We are providing a served, plated meal. 5. There will be sanitization stations. 6. Travelers will be following Chicago's travel restrictions: https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/sites/covid-19/home/emergency-travel-order.html We understand that these precautions may not provide enough comfort for some, and completely understand if some guests are not able to attend.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence and/or well wishes are more than gift enough! However, if you would like to send us off with a little something, we would be more than grateful for a contribution towards our dream honeymoon. Please see the "registry" tab for more information, in case that is helpful.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

Literally freezing cold (or lower) and potentially snowy. Dress accordingly!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

No, there will not be a shuttle. We suggest downloading Lyft or Uber to get around. They typically come within minutes!

Is there valet or parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No, we suggest using Lyft or Uber for a ride, but SpotHero is a great app to find nearby garages for paid parking, if you drive.
