Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 11:00 am. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to get seated.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church, followed by the reception at the Washington Civic Center. Please visit the Schedule and Travel pages for further details including addresses, parking information, and accommodation options.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at both the ceremony and reception locations.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. Think suits, dress shirts, and cocktail dresses—perfect for a daytime, brunch-style celebration. We do ask that all guests refrain from wearing any shade of white, pink, or blue.

Question

Do I need to stay overnight?

Answer

Not at all! Our wedding will wrap up around 5:00 pm, so same-day travel is totally doable. You’re welcome to stay if you’d like to explore the area or relax.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve carefully planned our guest list, so please refer to your invitation for your allotted number of guests. If a plus one isn’t listed, we ask that you do not bring an additional guest.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! However, we’re only able to accommodate children who are specifically included on invitations.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please inidicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP so that we can do our best to accommodate you.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’ve created a registry with a mix of funds for our future home and experiences we love which can be accessed on the Registry tab.
