Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

As we’ve lived together now for nearly 4 years, we have everything we need (and that our little house can hold!). We know that attending a wedding, especially out of state, can be a big ordeal and your presence for the weekend is the only gift we need. If you feel inclined to do more, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Question

Why Maine?

Answer

Well, there’s a lot of answers to this question! We first travelled to Maine together in 2021 and absolutely fell in love with it. We’ve dreamed ever since of being able to relocate there, even occasionally perusing Zillow for good deals. We love the slow pace of Maine, we love the Northern New England feel and we love the idea of having a wedding weekend that can be a weekend getaway to a new (or familiar) place for our guests to visit and explore.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Aside from the immediate family of the bride and the groom included in the wedding party, we are requesting a child-free event. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you will treat this weekend as an excuse for a parents only getaway.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please click on our travel tab to see the hotel at which we have a group rate for the weekend of our wedding. If you’d like to stay elsewhere, no problem! Please just consider the proximity to the hotel or reach out to us if you’d like to utilize our provided transportation.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the main event on Saturday from the hotel listed on our “Travel” tab. Please coordinate your own transportation to the Welcome Party on Friday night, if planning to attend. We have plenty of parking on site!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone look their best for our big day! That being said, we are hoping for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour so we invite you to be comfortable as well. Our dress code would best be characterized as “semi-formal”. If you have any specific questions regarding what to wear, reach out to us!
