Well it all started online, we both swiped right... lol. Our first date was during the Christmas season in downtown Prescott. He came to pick me up and opened his car door for me (that was just the first of many gestures showing what a gentleman he is). We walked around Prescott for awhile (he always made sure I was on the inside of the sidewalk, away from the street) and ended up at Prescott Brewing Company where we talked for a couple hours. We left to come back to my place to watch a movie and on the way back he wanted me to hear a song he really loves. While the song played during the ride home it was then that I knew he is something special. My life changed that night and it has been amazing ever since.
We had talked about getting married in the future but the question was asked on a very special night. We were in Vegas for a little Valentine’s getaway and we had reservations at Gordon Ramsay’s Hells Kitchen. We both love watching Ramsay’s shows on TV and testing out his recipes at home (have I mentioned my fiancé is an absolutely incredible cook). We had just finished eating and we were talking, then he asked me that little question about spending the rest of my life with him. I had a feeling it was coming sometime soon but that doesn’t prepare you for the emotions you feel when the man of your dreams asks you that. I of course said yes and we hugged, kissed and I couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful ring on my finger. The staff had overheard and brought us a dessert to celebrate our engagement. The night was absolutely perfect.
