The Story Behind Our "Story"
Our "Story" begins long before we met on that life-changing July 2024 hike. In fact, it began long before we ever moved to North Carolina, graduated college, or even learned to drive. This is because we have both been praying for years to find exactly what we represent for each other: someone passionate and compassionate, faithful and fearless, kind and keen, daring and determined, and spontaneous and supportive. Perhaps this is why we knew on that first "Chapter" that we were destined to spend our lives together.
Our second date was a beautiful dinner in downtown Raleigh where our camaraderie and connection grew ever deeper. It was then when asked to toast us, I (Michael) cheered, "To This Chapter, To Our Story, and To it Never Ending". From then on, every single date, encounter, or day together was referred to as a "Chapter", each one meticulously and methodically titled for the occasion.
This tradition, and more importantly, this "Story", continues...
