Initially, we met online. However, we officially met in Salisbury, Vermont for what we thought would be a simple hike. Well, it turned out to be 90 degrees that day so our original two-hour hike turned into four hours! Despite the heat, sweat, and constant water breaks, the conversations and laughs never stopped. By the time we got to ice cream after, we were both thinking this could turn into something great...and crossing our fingers that the feeling was mutual!

364 days after we first met, we were hiking a different mountain in Vermont (and in case you were wondering, this time it was not 90 degrees out). Joe insisted that my dog and my brother tag along - now I know he actually needed a hype man and something to keep me distracted! When we got to the top he suggested we take a picture...and then he got down on one knee! I basically said yes before he even got the question out! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in New Hampshire!
