We prayed, We found each other and now we will say “I Do”

Jose and I met in the spring of 2019 on the most beautiful day, in the most calming moment. I walked into his job to take care of some business, Not sure of how the conversation started but it was engaging, exciting and comforting. As I walked out of the door it was established that we would see each other again. Our first date was all day and it started with him bringing me Starbucks and then we headed to church. This date started off on the right foot. As we worshipped together. I began to thank God for the moment. It was everything that I was praying for. My heart was so full of joy. Our time together has been growth, happiness, joy, full of ups and downs and several challenges. In the year of 2021 we were in such a bad place we had to take a few steps back to realize what we had in each other. We took a few months apart only to come back together for another try. I was praying and he was praying. God put us in a space where we had to lean on him for ALL understanding. He showed me that this is exactly who he has for me and he showed him that he could be the man he called him to be. He was preparing us in so many ways. I had no idea that we would be here but it was the…“ I knew when I saw you that you were going to be my wife” those words were it. We have each other!
