Is there a dress code?

Semi-Formal Attire / Dressy Casual Attire: We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress for ladies and a shirt and trousers for men. Trainers are allowed. Please avoid wearing white or ivory, as these colours are reserved for the bride and groom. Additionally, steer clear of burgundy to avoid matching the bridesmaids. While we want everyone to look fabulous, we also want you to be comfortable. Feel free to bring a light jacket or shawl if the evening gets cool.

What colours should we avoid wearing ?

1. White or Ivory: These colours are reserved for the bride. 2. Burgundy: Since the bridesmaids are wearing burgundy, it's best to avoid this colour to prevent blending in with the bridal party. 3. Super Light Colors: Colors like champagne, beige, or very light pastels can appear white in photos, which can cause confusion. 4. Neon Colors: Bright, flashy colours can be distracting and take attention away from the couple.

Between 13:30 and 14:45. The service will begin at 2 pm sharp.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are welcome to bring a plus one to the reception, but please ensure they are registered using the link made available on the 'save the date' digital invite'. Due to limited seating, plus ones are not permitted at the ceremony, which accommodates only 60 guests. If we reach full capacity, individuals will be asked to wait outside.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, there is a section to add any dietary requirements. If you have already RSVP'd and didn't include this information, that's fine. Please get in touch with the bride or groom so we can ensure you have suitable food on the day.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony You can find both on-street 'pay-and-display' parking and off-street car parks in Grays town centre. The on-street parking is generally short-stay, but there are long-stay options available as well. For the reception 1. Billericay Station Car Park About a 7-minute walk from Rumours, with 370 spaces available. 2. Radford Crescent Car Park: Approximately a 10-minute walk, offering 108 spaces. 3. Lake Meadows Car Park: Around an 11-minute walk, with 110 spaces.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While children are welcome, we kindly ask that guests consider not bringing them. We understand that finding childcare can be challenging, and we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on celebrating with us because of it. However, please note that since most of our guests do not have young children, the wedding will not include child entertainment or childcare services.
