Not only was this one of our first date spots, but it's where Jono proposed! It's a great place to overlook Los Angeles, picnic, or lounge in the sun.
While not an LA exclusive, we've had the great pleasure of partaking in a cooking class, enjoying an anniversary dinner, roaming the grocery section, and even witnessing a Parmesan wheel being opened. A great place for a quick lunch or a rooftop cocktail!
This is our favorite cafe in LA and the best place to grab a Thanksgiving Pot Pie followed by one of their many delicious dessert pies.
The best jerk chicken around!
Porto's helped us survive the COVID lockdown. Our personal favorites are the potato balls (especially the Thanksgiving ones which only come around once a year), guava + cheese strudel, and cheese rolls, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Ready for the best handmade mochi of your life? You must check out Fugetsu-Do, widely considered to be the oldest mochi shop in the US. We can't resist getting a box whenever we find ourselves evrn the slightest bit near Little Tokyo.
Other typical LA activities include: The Walk of Fame, Universal Studios, The Santa Monica Pier, The Hollywood Sign, various LA sporting events, The Getty Museum & Villa, etc. Visit the link for other recommendations for classic LA activities.
