Driving 400 miles to meet Renee, Jonas was nervous to meet the girl he never met in person. After sticking around an online class, Jonas decided to message Renee through Discord just a week or so ago. When Jonas finally got to Renee’s apartment in Berkeley, he was thrilled to see that girl he saw on his screen was real. And pretty strong, after almost knocking him down with a hug… It’s been four years since that day, they’ve been together ever since. Together... with four cats... and one baby boy!

Renee attended Sweetwater High School, San Diego City College, and UC Berkeley (where she met Jonas :) ). She majored in Philosophy at UC Berkeley and plans on attending law school in the fall of 2025. Renee is currently an AmeriCorps high school coach, where she guides students of low-income backgrounds through the college application process. She plans on pursuing a legal career in Child Advocacy. Her interests include video games (COD, Minecraft, Fortnite, story games), board games (Terra Mystica, Azul, Ironwood), and watching bridezilla videos on Youtube.

Jonas attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, El Camino Community College, and UC Berkeley. He majored in Philosophy at UC Berkeley. In high school and community college, Jonas was a GOD in the debate world. Currently, Jonas works at a boutique law firm in Minneapolis and teaches as a private debate coach in his spare time. Jonas's interest include League of Legends, board games, and spending time with his little boy.
