Question

Do I need theme park tickets to attend the wedding?

Answer

No. Theme park tickets are not required to attend any of the events during our wedding week except the optional day in the Magic Kingdom. However, if you would like to explore the theme parks while you are visiting, specially priced theme park passes are available to wedding guests by calling (407) 827-6799, or via https://disneyurl.com/Weddings

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, casual dress is acceptable. For the ceremony and dessert party, the dress code is "Resort Chic". Think bright color sun dresses or long maxi dresses for women, khaki or linen pants and collared shirts for men. "Nice" shorts are acceptable with a collard shirt but please no denim, tshirts, flip flops etc. We recommend comfortable shoes as there will be some walking involved from the ceremony to the dessert party/reception.

Question

What does an "unplugged" ceremony mean?

Answer

Too often, we miss out on life's special moments because we are looking at it through a camera lens instead of being "present". We have hired very capable photographers and videographers to capture the event for you so that you can be fully present with us during this special moment. You will be asked to put away any cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. Feel free to take as many pictures as you want during the Dessert party!!! All guests will receive a link to our photos and videos after the ceremony.

Question

Do we need to stay at a Disney hotel?

Answer

While we have reserved rooms at two beautiful Disney properties with easy access to the event venues, you do not have to stay on the Disney property in order to attend our wedding events. We recommend contacting our preferred travel agent listed on the "travel" page for assistance. We will be staying at the Disney Boardwalk Villas located at the Disney Boardwalk Monday June 6-Friday June 10.

Question

When should we book travel arrangments?

Answer

ASAP! Hotels and flights have been filling up quickly, and early June can be a heavy travel time. Please reach out to our preferred Travel Agent for assistance.

Question

How do I RSVP? and when are RSVP's Due

Answer

Please RSVP online at the RSVP page no later than March 1. While we recognize this is 3 months before the wedding, we have strict timelines with Disney for headcounts we need to follow. Guests that do not RSVP by the deadline will be counted as "unable to attend".

Question

If we are staying off-site, what about parking?

Answer

Free parking is available at the Disney Boardwalk Resort during the ceremony and fireworks dessert reception. You may also use a ride-share provider for easy transportation to the Disney Boardwalk Resort.

Question

Will we need transportation from the ceremony to the fireworks dessert reception?

Answer

No. The International Gateway entrance into the Epcot resort is a very short walk from the ceremony location at Disney's Boardwalk Resort.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Backup indoor locations at the Boardwalk Inn and EPCOT will be available for the Wedding Ceremony and dessert reception in the event of inclement weather. Disney will notify us no later than five hours prior to the ceremony if there is a venue change.
