Answer

There is lodging available at the Whiteface Lodge where the ceremony and reception are taking place. There are a few hotels in the immediate area as well as several Air BNB options. Look under the "Travel" tab for more information. Please book early, we can't stress this enough. It is ski season in the Adirondacks!

Parking

Answer

Valet parking is available at $6 per car. There is self parking available in the front of the lodge however, there are a limited number of spots. For any guests staying at the lodge, parking is free.

Children

Answer

We kindly ask for no children at the ceremony or the reception. Children are welcome to join at the welcome social and goodbye coffee. For guests staying at the Whiteface Lodge they have a kids camp as well as an in room baby sitting referral service. Weather

Lake Placid is several miles off the nearest interstate requiring driving through the Adirondack mountains. Please plan for winter weather and allow yourself plenty of time for travel. We recommend staying in Lake Placid the night before if possible to limit your travel the day of.

Dress Code

The ceremony and reception halls are connected, there is no need to go outside during our celebration unless you'd like to! Attire for the evening is formal.
