What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. Formal falls between black tie and cocktail on the wedding attire scale. Not quite as dressy as a black tie affair, however a bit elevated from cocktail attire. We are kindly requesting guests to wear the color black. For ladies, we encourage elegant black dresses, black jumpsuits, or dressy black separate pieces. For gentlemen, we encourage traditional black suits or dressy black jackets/separates. Please see the dress code tab for style inspiration.

Why am I being asked to wear the color black?

Answer

We are respecfully asking guests to wear the color black to match the elegant tone of the evening. We look forward to celebrating with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors open at 5p. Join us for a pre-ceremony champagne celebration.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Complimentary parking in the lot adjacent to The Society Room will be available the evening of our wedding on Friday, March 27th. Overnight parking is not permitted.

Is parking available at the hotels?

Answer

The Goodwin Hotel: $35/night, valet parking DoubleTree: $19/daily rate Residence Inn: $17/daily rate, $5/daily discounted rate when booked with our wedding block

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, as our recommended hotels are just a short walk from the venue. The Society Room, located at 31 Pratt Street, is situated in a pedestrian-only area. If you're using a ride-sharing service, we suggest being dropped off on Main Street. As an added convenience, we'll be providing an Uber credit for you to use throughout the wedding weekend.

What is the complimentary Uber code?

Answer

We're delighted to share our complimentary Uber code: RMUNUQCTRBJ. Feel free to use this wedding weekend voucher by opening the Uber app and entering the code under the "voucher" section in your payment method. One redemption per couple, please.

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes. The greatest gift you can give us today is to be truly present, so please turn off all phones and cameras and enjoy this special moment with us. Thank you!

Is the celebration indoors?

Answer

Yes, our entire celebration from the ceremony through cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors at The Society Room of Hartford.

Yes, coat check will be available to our guests.

Should I bring cash?

Answer

Your bar tab is covered for the entire evening. The bride and groom invite you to take part in the traditional Filipino "Money Dance".

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please join us for a Welcome Reception on Thursday, March 26th at Urban Lodge Brewing Company located at 88 Pratt Street. The party won't stop after the wedding reception! Join us for an After Party Celebration at Vaughan's Public House located at 59 Pratt Street.
