WHAT ARE THE WEDDING COLORS?

DO YOU HAVE A GIFT PREFERENCE?

Answer

On our registry page, you'll find both monetary and physical gifts. We recently purchased a home and don't necessarily need household items, but we’ve added a few to the registry. While we prefer monetary gifts to help fund our honeymoon, we would be grateful for either option. Both are deeply appreciated.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOTEL RECOMMENDATION?

Answer

The closest hotels to the venue are located in downtown Columbia, SC. We’ve also reserved room blocks at select hotels. For discounted rates and details, please check the travel tab.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 22nd by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Answer

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by declining the RSVP so we can plan accordingly. You can decline by following the instructions on the RSVP tab.

WHAT DOES "COCKTAIL ATTIRE" MEAN?

Answer

For Women: Dresses or Jumpsuits: Choose knee-length, tea-length, or midi styles in light fabrics like chiffon or silk. Pastels, floral prints, or soft solid colors (blush, mint, lavender) are ideal. For Men: Suits and Jackets: A suit or blazer with tailored pants is perfect. Lighter colors like beige, navy, or light gray are popular, but black or navy blue are fine. Shirts: Wear a crisp button-up in white, light blue, or pastel shades. Ties and Pocket Squares: Add a pop of color with a tie or pocket square in pastel or floral patterns. Shoes: Polished dress shoes like oxfords or loafers in black, brown, or tan. General Tips: Emphasize light, cheerful colors and patterns for a spring vibe. Avoid overly formal attire like floor-length gowns or tuxedos, as well as overly casual looks like jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers. Also, avoid white attire.

Yes. Both will take place indoors at 701 Whaley.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

It is recommended to arrive early enough for parking, to find a seat, and socialize before the ceremony begins. We recommend 30 minutes before the ceremony. We will begin on time. Once the doors shut, we will not open them again until the ceremony is over.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Answer

Paved Lot: Located next to the main building. Gravel Lot: Adjacent to the Market Building (Radius Parking Lot). This lot is available unless a church event is in progress, indicated by a “Church Parking Only” sign. Wayne Street Parking: Available across the street, running along Pacific Park to the wooden fence and back to Whaley Street. On-Street Parking: Some surrounding streets also allow on-street parking.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE ELSE TO YOUR WEDDING WITH ME?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We hope you understand that we can no longer accommodate those who are not on our guest list due to limited seats. Each seat has a name assigned.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we’re unable to accommodate all children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. If your child is invited, their name will be included on your RSVP.
