Spring Cocktail Attire. Since it is a grassy backyard, I would recommend block heels, wedges, and cowboy boots! Avoid heels that will sink into the ground.
In an effort to keep the cost and wedding to a minimum, we are asking that you only bring a plus one, or children if they were included on your wedding invite.
The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 7:00 pm. Please give yourself at least 30 minutes to arrive, find parking, and walk the 1 block to get to the house. So that you are seated by 7:00 pm.
Yes, but an untraditional wedding dinner. There will be a taco truck serving up taco plates. Choices will be chicken, steak fajita, or pork with rice and beans. If you don't like tacos.....sorry. :)
Not at all! I have never watched a Star Wars movie a day in my life. Brandon has seen all of them, but he's not a super fan. It's just the date that worked overall. #maythelordbewithyouandnotthefourth Hehe
The wedding and reception will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly. Ladies bring some flipflops along with your cute sandals/heels.
We will not have alcohol available, however, you are welcome to bring your own. There will be plastic cups available for your wine or mixed drinks. :) Please make sure that you keep it classy and clean up after yourself. Xoxo

Great question! I am so glad that you asked! Broken Halos Haven is a place that allows grieving families a stress-free, no-cost getaway. That empowers and builds the confidence of widows who are now parenting alone and helps them realize it’s OK to have fun, enjoy life, and find joy again. With that, they also built a pergola in the backyard of the house for widows who find love again and marry. This place is special to me because I was able to stay at the house in September of 2022 at no cost and before we left the house that Sunday morning, we held hands in a circle in the living room and I prayed for all the widows who had been there, all the widows that would come, AND I prayed for God to send LOVE sooner than later. Five months later on February 12, 2023, I met Brandon unexpectedly and we've been inseparable since. I am so overjoyed and grateful to be back at the house marrying Brandon on an ANSWERED PRAYER!
THE MOST asked question! LOL! It's funny how we associate events with colors. I keep saying I don't have colors because everything is minimal (in my mind...ha) But things are very neutral. Earth tones and browns. You do not have to wear the colors! :)
