We rarely think about the fact that we met through a dating app, but yes, it's true! It all started in January of 2021 when Avery commented on one of my profile photos-- not just any photo though-- a photo of me at Top Golf. The golf aficionado couldn't help it and commented "I'm gonna need to see that swing (insert wink emoji)" and thus started the conversation. A few short weeks later, after exchanging messages through the app, we met for our first date at Top Golf in Centennial CO. I was running late (per usual) as I left my phone at home and had a long day moving into my new condo. We hugged to say hello and I knew in that moment that I wanted to know him forever. It sounds so cheesy but it's true. It was the best first date ever! On our very next date, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We've loved doing life together and we even recently moved out to his hometown in the "almost Kansas" part of Colorado. On December 31, 2022 he asked me to marry him and I couldn't say "Yes!" fast enough. Now I not only get to know him forever but love him forever.
