Loafers Bread Co
The best bakery in the Wexford/Cranberry area. Known for their great bread and pastries, baked fresh each day! Also serve delicious soups and sandwiches.
Bartram House Bakery
Another local Pittsburgh chain that’s a great breakfast/lunch option near the hotels.
Kelly O's Diner
Visited on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, this famous breakfast joint now has a new location in Cranberry! If you dine here, we recommend the grilled cinnamon rolls :)
Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar
The CLASSIC Pittsburgh sandwich and a great way to try the local tradition of putting fries on everything (salad, sandwich, you name it…)
Forgotten Taste Pierogies
Polish food is big in Pittsburgh, and pierogies are no exception. Just down the road from the hotels is our favorite Polish restaurant. Don’t forget to try the haluski and kielbasa too!
Milkshake Factory
Another great Pittsburgh franchise, and a Clark family post-climbing tradition. Good selection of milkshakes (including dairy-free options) with very generous portions!!
Soergel Orchards
Just up the road from the hotels, this family-run farm has several farm stores, a garden center, pick-your-own fields, ice cream, and much more. Also home to Arsenal Ciders, a great local ciderhouse (that now serves beer!)
McLaughlin Distillery
Local distillery that specializes in excellent moonshine. Stop by for a tasting or schedule a behind-the-scenes tour! They have over 20 different naturally-flavored varieties of moonshine, as well as bourbon, whiskey, and vodka.
North Park
The largest park in Allegheny county - a great place to go for a run or bike, with plenty of trails and a giant paved loop around the lake.
ASCEND South Side
Our favorite indoor climbing spot in Pittsburgh. Huge bouldering section with some top-roping routes as well. We highly encourage everyone to check it out (and then hit up The Milkshake Factory afterwards)!
Duquesne Incline
The Pittsburgh icon. Take the incline up to the top of Mt. Washington for a beautiful view of the city!
PNC Park
As a love for baseball basically runs in René’s blood (much to Jeff’s dismay), no sight-seeing list would be complete without PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. They will be in-town against the St. Louis Reds over the wedding weekend (June 2-4). Let’s Go Bucs!
