We're getting married!

The Passera's-to-be first met at a mutual friend's apartment for a fun-filled game night, but it wasn't until two years later when they crossed paths, that this same mutual friend helped set the groundwork for their first date. Daniel had planned the perfect romantic evening at the Sapphire Hotel on SE Hawthorne, (now René's favorite date night spot) followed by a leisurely stroll filled with golden hour views on Mt. Tabor. After that first date, they were inseparable, sensing that their paths had crossed for a greater purpose and having a renewed sense of dependence on God's perfect timing in their lives.

Daniel and René had planned on getting family pictures for some time. Little did René know, that Daniel and Isaiah had planned a very special picnic with the miraculous Mt. Hood as the backdrop, their beautiful impending venue for the big day. During a record-breaking heat wave in Portland, Daniel was not deterred, and both men got down on bended knee asking, "Will you be my mom?" "Will you be my wife?" To which was responded "OF COURSE YES!" We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you. See you at the Timberline Lodge!
