A chance meeting online led to a lifelong connection. As Dan likes to say, we started talking that day, and never stopped! Our first date was at 11 am at the World War I Memorial in Kansas City, MO, and our second date was at 2 pm that same afternoon after a short break to bring Dan’s restless and slightly bored doggo back home. On our third date (the next day) we went to buy a Lego set to build together….and we’ve been building our lives together ever since. We have many special memories of falling in love while exploring Kansas City together, and we are so happy to invite you to celebrate our wedding with us there.

In lieu of cards or gifts, please bring a small potted plant of your choice to the wedding ceremony to share. They will later be incorporated into the decorations at the reception. At the end of the night we would like to invite everyone to choose a plant to take home with them as a reminder of the ever-growing nature of love, its need for constant nurturing and care, and its ability to continue to transform every day into something unique and beautiful. (For those traveling from out of town, feel free to choose an artificial plant if this is more convenient!)
