It was the year of 2021 in Aggieland. Alyssa was feeling homesick, missing her family’s carne asadas. Rene was looking for friends outside of the Corps of Cadets. They both ended up joining the Mexican Student Association on campus. What was thought to be a group invitation to Midnight Yell turned out to be a “first date”, as per Rene. He then continued to send GamePigeon requests to charm his way into Alyssa’s heart… even after she said, “I just want to be friends.” Then the rest is history. Now, they return to College Station, Texas where their hearts first danced, to pledge their love in marriage surrounded by the memories that brought them together.
