Renae and Alex first met in early 2025 when a mutual friend texted both of them that she found a perfect match for them. Skeptical at first, Renae and Alex agreed to see how things play out. Renae added Alex on Facebook and thus began their weeks of communication. After moving back to St. Louis from Chicago, Alex immediately took Renae out on their first date to an Escape Room. Successfully escaping the daring Blockbuster video return challenge, Renae and Alex’s love story begins with many more dates to follow. Renae and Alex both share a passion for all things Disney. 2025 has brought not one, not two, but three amazing Walt Disney World vacations that the two of them were able to enjoy with each other. With this shared love of Disney, Renae expressed wanting a proposal in front of Cinderella’s castle. Alex took this idea to heart and immediately began planning how to make her dream come true. A 30th birthday trip already planned, this was the perfect time to propose to Renae. To keep Renae unaware of his plan, Alex and family members involved had to get Renae to believe she was surprising him on this trip. With a “surprise” appearance made by Renae on the trip, Alex’s plan began to unfold. On the evening of November 14th, 2025, Renae and Alex go to take a photo in front of Cinderella’s Castle. Alex nervously anxious, awaits for the busy crowd to dissipate. As the crowd begins to dim, a tap on Renae’s shoulder from her mother and father begins the magical proposal she has always dreamed of. Alex gets down on one knee and both of their dreams come true. Finding their one true love to spend the rest of their lives with.
