Life has a funny way of putting people in our lives when we least expect them. Remington and I met when we were both not really looking for anyone. Our first encounter was at Cowgirls in Kuna when we were both working there. I didn't really think I would ever talk to him or let alone end up dating and marrying him! I was finishing college and he was finishing lineman school. We really shouldn't of ended up together, but we wouldn't be the people we are today if we didn't. I've never been with someone who not only knows my goals but actually supports them. Most of the time people say they will but once it starts to get challenging, they bail. Remington and I both have goals in our careers we want to complete and it comes with sacrifices. We have both helped each other grow into better versions of ourselves. He is my rock when it comes to the hard times and he is there to make me laugh when I didn't even think I needed it. Someone asked me when we got engaged, "do you love him even when you don't like him?" I thought that was a strange question at first but then I remembered every time I would roll my eyes at something he did and then end up laughing afterwards. He taught me what it means to love someone without a doubt and understand what true love really is. It's not always easy; it takes work, dedication and devotion to one another. But at the end of the day, there is no one I would rather do life with.
