Discovery Park

Many of our early dates were exploring the park trails with Zoey, and we still visit often for long walks.

Carkeek Park

Less crowded than Discovery, with hilly trails and beach access. If you're lucky, you'll be on the bridge as a train goes under (Christopher's favorite part of this park!)

Washington Park Arboretum

Another one of our favorite city parks for long walks with Zoey.

Bainbridge Island

Arrive a day early or stay late, and take the ferry to explore Christopher's hometown.

Ballard Farmers Market & Fremont Sunday Market

Explore the Ballard Farmers Market for fresh produce and ready to eat foods, and the Fremont Market for almost everything else! Both are open year-round, Sundays only (9am-2pm Ballard, 10am-4pm Fremont).
