Things To Do

Explore iconic Seattle spots, along with some of our favorite places.

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

Also explore the revived Waterfront Park!

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

Kerry Park

211 West Highland Drive, Seattle, WA 98119

Our first date (during Covid) ended at Kerry Park/Betty Bowen Viewpoint. Check out nearby Parsons Gardens!

Woodland Park Zoo

Seattle, WA 98103

We visit every year for WildLaterns and the wine/beer tasting events.

Fremont Troll

Troll Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98103

The troll is just a quick uphill walk from our home!

Discovery Park

Seattle, WA 98199

Many of our early dates were exploring the park trails with Zoey, and we still visit often for long walks.

Carkeek Park

950 Northwest Carkeek Park Road, Seattle, WA 98177

Less crowded than Discovery, with hilly trails and beach access. If you're lucky, you'll be on the bridge as a train goes under (Christopher's favorite part of this park!)

Washington Park Arboretum

2300 Arboretum Drive East, Seattle, WA 98112

Another one of our favorite city parks for long walks with Zoey.

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island, WA

Arrive a day early or stay late, and take the ferry to explore Christopher's hometown.

Ballard Farmers Market & Fremont Sunday Market

Explore the Ballard Farmers Market for fresh produce and ready to eat foods, and the Fremont Market for almost everything else! Both are open year-round, Sundays only (9am-2pm Ballard, 10am-4pm Fremont).

Our favorite coffee shops

Lighthouse Roasters - Fremont Feva Coffee Company - Fremont Sundays Coffee - Fremont (All dog-friendly!)

Our favorite restaurants

Stone Way Cafe, Fremont - get the breakfast burrito (per Christopher) Bottlehouse, Madrona - we've celebrated several anniversaries/special occasions here Nolita, Ballard - we've celebrated several anniversaries/special occasions here Gainsbourg, Greenwood - great cocktails. Gets crowded early, happy hour is best!
