After meeting in a class called Red Flags Black Flags: Anarchy vs. Marxism (indicative of our relationship), we both immediately fell in crush. It all started with glances across the classroom table, tagged memes on FB, and "accidentally" running into each other on the way to class. Our relationship grew in the walls of Sherman dining hall, the SCC, and Goldman Judaica Center. After a road trip with some friends from Brandeis to Florida, we knew that we were a done deal. Almost two years of long-distance and many, many video-calls later, we decided to take on NYC together, putting down roots in Washington Heights in Manhattan, working jobs in the non-profit education sector, and joining a welcoming Jewish community. As the pandemic hit, we buckled-down and spent half a year binging tv, sweating about the state of our democracy, and just enjoying each other's company. We are so incredibly happy, excited, overtaken with simcha at the prospect of putting another notch in our story and getting married!!!
