Our journey began in a way everyone dreams of... engineering school. We first met when our group of friends sat together in the same class as they had all gotten acquainted on a study abroad. One day, I ask my friend Sam to switch seats with me so that I could sit next to Sarah. Group study sessions lead to exchanged phone numbers which lead to first dates and before long we started dating in February 2020. Between COVID lockdowns, new jobs, and long distances we always made time for each other as there was nothing we wanted more than to be together. Fast forward to October of 2024, on a trip to meet Sarah's grandparents for the first time, I asked the scariest and greatest question I will ever utter... and of course she said yes or I guess you wouldn't be reading this! We can't wait to share this wonderful day with all of you and thank you for being such important parts of our lives! - Carl
