Our Story
If you know, you know......
How We Met:
I met Marcus when his church came to sing at my church in April 2023 and when he started preaching, I was like, "That man can preach!" After the service, I told him that he did a great job preaching. We began to just stick like glue as we were talking. He threw out some of the most funniest dad jokes ever imagined! Then, he kind of admitted he liked me. I was shocked. Then, I told him I sorta liked him too.
First Date:
He surprised me and came over to my house on May 16, 2023, and he asked me, "Will you be my girlfriend?" I automatically said yes and we went to get some Starbucks!
Engagement:
We were in North Little Rock on April 8, 2024, the day of the solar eclipse, and he engaged to me the exact moment it got dark. Of course I said YES!!!
