What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone wears what makes them most comfortable - Whether that is your Sunday best or your go-to dressy casual outfit! Please avoid solid white or solid blush pink dresses. Given the wedding will be late September, the weather will be unpredictable. As long as it is not too cold or raining, the ceremony will be held outdoors overlooking the lake!

How do we find the venue?

Answer

When you enter the park, take a right and follow the road. You will find the building followed by the parking lot on the right hand side. We will have signs! The ceremony will be setup outside on the patio, so you can’t miss it!

Where should we stay?

Answer

There is a Wingate by Wyndham hotel nearby the venue. Please check the “travel” tab of our website for address and phone number! There will not be complimentary transportation to and from the hotel.

Can I leave my car at the venue if I am unable to drive?

Answer

Yes! We want everyone to enjoy celebrating with us and get home safely! If you are unable to drive after the party, please leave your car parked in the parking lot next to the venue. Carpool or call for an Uber back home and return the following day to pickup your vehicle.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we will be having the ceremony on the patio, outdoors. This will be followed by an indoor reception inside Nederhouser Community Hall.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue size restrictions, we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding! If you have any questions, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue size restrictions, we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding! Exceptions will be made for infants under 1.

Will there be meal options available for guests with allergies?

Answer

If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please notify the bride or groom as soon as possible so we can work with the caterer to ensure there is a meal prepared for you!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a limited open bar. Alcohol must stay on the venue grounds limited to inside the venue and the immediate surrounding patio and sidewalk. Do not bring any alcohol to the parking lot or onto the public park grounds. We want everyone to be safe! Vehicles are allowed to be left in the parking lot overnight if you drink and are unable to drive afterwards.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry set up, however we appreciate any gifts received! We will be taking a delayed honeymoon in 2025 and have a cash fund set up.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30. Please arrive at least 20 minutes ahead of time to get settled and find a seat. The ceremony will be followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! Due to venue requirements, we will be ending at 10:30pm.
