Maile's family's restaurant is the best around for the freshest seafood and tastiest steaks!!
Located right in the heart of the River North neighborhood, this is where we had our first date. Sunda has great cocktails and the best brussel sprout salad in town! It's always Maile's first choice for date night!
The home for Chicago's famous deep dish pizza. Rich's order is plain cheese and Maile's is sausage, mushrooms, and onions!
On any given Portillo's run for us, you'll find 2 hot dogs with everything, 2 cheese fries, and 2 cheesy, spicy beefs (one dipped, and one dry). The chopped salad tends to make an appearance frequently too!
Just 4 blocks from the hotel, Millennium Park is home to the famous, reflective "Bean"! There are plenty of great photo opportunities throughout the park, and if you head closer to the lake, you'll be able to swing through Maggie Daley Park too!
Take some time to enjoy some local crafts on draft! Check out their site for tour information and current beers on tap.
Take in the city's beautiful architecture from the sky on the 95th floor in the John Hancock building. The Signature Room is known for a great 360 degree view of the city with delicious food. Head one floor up to enjoy a cocktail in the Signature Lounge with the same breathtaking views!
Lining up the lakefront are a few of our favorite field trip past times. The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium are all in a row next to Soldier Field. Whether you visit one of these places, or take a stroll in the area, you won't be disappointed. There's also a killer view of the city from the planetarium!
