Do you believe in The red string theory?

The red string theory is a symbol of fate, love and connection. It is a myth that says two people who are destined to be together regardless of time, place or circumstances are connected by an invisible red string. This magical cord is attached to people at birth. As it brushes against the one they’re meant to be with the string may stretch or tangle but never break. In 2002-2003 Kevin’s sister, Stephanie, and I were in eighth grade together at Sandcreek middle school. We also very recently realized we rode the bus together! 99.9% positive anyways. In 2007 I was working at JCPenny during the same time Kevin’s sister in law, Jodi, was working in the salon. She would come out and talk with me while waiting for Kevin’s brother, Scott, to bring her lunch where I met him for the first time. In 2014 my high school best friend, Airelle, married her husband, Erick. Who turns out to be Kevin’s high school best friend. Somehow we missed each other at their reception and did not meet. Between the years 2014-2016 I remember friends talking about a Biker Kevin every so often not realizing who he was. In April of 2017 I joined Airelle and Erick on a weekend trip where I met Kevin at a rock crawling competition in Cedar City, Utah. Even though we all know Kevin has never been with anyone other than me… there was still a sign of the theory and being connected to each other as he was in a relationship with a past coworker of mine. On August 9th, 2018 our red string did what it was meant to do and brought us together at the right time for our first date. It has no longer stretched while we find our way through our own trials in life. And FINALLY he asked me to marry him May 5th, 2024. I believe in the red string theory. I believe in destined partners and soulmates. I believe in fate and love. And I believe that Kevin and I were always meant to find our way to each other.
