Best Man
Luke and Corgan met in combat on the playground of Independence Bible School. However, they soon discovered that they had much in common; an affinity for riding bikes around their hometown, '80s hard rock and metal music, and art (which Corgan was always better at). Luke often reflects on simpler times when they would exploit the Taco Bell and McDonald's for "free" water while they were out riding their bikes. I'm grateful for our friendship and all the memories we have! -Luke
Groomsman
Craig is has been Luke's younger brother for 20 years now. Luke still remembers getting out of Kindergarten early to go to the hospital and seeing this little guy with big ears. Although they often fought growing up, they would eventually get along well enough to live together in an apartment after Luke got out of college. They would revel in their shared misery of doing the dishes by hand. I'm very proud of the man you are becoming Craig. -Love, Luke
Groomsman
Lee and Luke started hanging out in high school. Lee would often drive Corgan and Luke around since he was the oldest. The three of them would drive 45 minutes just to go bowling, followed by some sushi with a side (yes, a side serving) of wasabi. Luke and Abby drove 12 hours to go to Lee’s wedding, and now Lee gets to return the favor - we greatly appreciate it, and can’t wait to see Lee! Lee, I love thinking back on our adventures and I wish your new family the best! -Luke
Groomsman
Jacob and Luke met in college and have spent a lot of time in the car going to and from record shops, and taking random trips to pick up some rare part for one of Jacob’s many bikes. Jacob and Luke would often spend time with their friends either riding bike around McPherson, or watching bizarre old movies from the ‘80s. Thanks Jacob for always being someone I could rely on to help me fix something, or to help me figure out my machining homework - I really appreciate you as a friend man. -Luke
Groomsman
Little did Luke know that the click clack of the typewriter someone was using in his college class would lead to the beginning of a great friendship. Through their mutual interest of Volkswagens, Luke and Matt would often frequent antique shops and auto parts stores. Fun fact: Luke ripped his pants at Matt’s wedding, and he secretly hopes the same happens to Matt… just kidding of course. Unless… Matt, I appreciate all the help and guidance you gave me in college and I’m glad to call you a friend! -Luke
Maid of Honor
Annie is one of Abby’s longest friends from childhood; their mothers are best friends too. Making it through an “awkward stage” in middle school where they didn’t talk much, Annie and Abby became fast friends in high school again, stayed friends 12 hours apart through college, and became roommates again post-college when Abby lived in Wichita. Abby has often referred to Annie as her “soul friend,” sharing lots of interests, bursting into song at the exact same line randomly without warning, and finishing each others sentences. Love ya, Dugong. - Abby
Bridesmaid
Ellie is Abby’s sister, and best friend. Abby and Ellie survived many years of sibling rivalry to turn around and find close friendship soon after Abby left for college out of state. Abby and Ellie share many interests, hobbies, and sometimes one braincell between them. Though they share a similar personality and sense of humor, the two couldn’t be more different when it came to their choice in career - a future electrical engineer and a mental health counselor. They get asked if they are twins shockingly often. Abby can’t really imagine a life where Ellie isn’t her sister or best friend. Love you, Earl. -Abby
Bridesmaid
Lindsay and Abby started hanging out when Abby was 8 weeks old, at Lindsay’s mom’s home daycare. Soon, the two moved into the same neighborhood, and both can still remember the day they realized (as 5/7 year olds) that they had just become new neighbors and ran down the street toward each other into a big hug. Becoming closer in high school, staying friends after Abby moved away to college, and moving in together as roommates with Annie in Park City, Lindsay has been a part of Abby’s journey through a lot of life. Love you lots Lindso. -Abby
Bridesmaid
Cambry and Abby met early in their freshman year of college. Cambry was one of those friends who quickly became Abby’s “rock” during a tumultuous freshman year. The two Kansas Girls in Colorado found a church together, went on all kinds of adventures, hikes, spent hours studying in coffee shops, and became roommates, along with Gabi. The pandemic separated the two as Cambry finished nursing school in Colorado and Abby chose to start work in Wichita. Abby was absolutely elated to learn that Cambry chose Wichita as the place to start her Nursing career and buy a home. Love you Cambob -Abby
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Abby have been friends since childhood, but reconnected in high school sharing several classes and participating in the same youth group. The two still reminisce over stunts pulled as teenagers together, and Abby often wonders how lucky she was to have a friend like Liv in her graduating class that has stuck around through college and into adulthood. Liv is the kind of friend you can share a piece of your soul with at just about any time; Abby has been grateful for the phone calls and all the long drives on country roads catching up. So grateful for you dear friend. -Abby
Photographer and Honorary Bridesmaid
Gabi was Abby’s first friend made at college; a true gem of a human, Abby mistakenly thought Gabi was her RA after she brought her a cup of tea upon hearing that Abby had a migraine on her first day on campus. Later, Abby found out that was just the kind of person Gabi is, and the two were fast friends ever since. Abby and Gabi shared many Colorado adventures, even living and working together for a summer. Abby got to enjoy Gabi being close for the year she lived in Winfield, and now is just too excited to get to see photos and updates of their friend group’s very first baby- Gabi’s sweet little girl. Love you Gabo! -Abby

Leightyn is Abby's Cousin Kylie's little one - Leightyn has added so much fun to every family gathering since her arrival! Abby has been very grateful to get to be a part of Leightyn's growing up and watching her and her many "firsts" over the last year. Leightyn and Abby will soon have the important title of "Big Sister" in common after Kylie and Chance's 2nd little one is born in April. Abby is so excited to have Leightyn get to be a part of her wedding day!

It has brought Luke so much joy to get to be a part of the growing-up of his two nephews, Noah and Elliot over the years. With many interests in common, there is always catching-up to do at family events, as well as lots of play in the yard to follow. Luke loves being an uncle to these two!
