A classic fairy tale with a twist: high school friends turned sweethearts - a love 20 years in the making. Since meeting in high school, Joe and Jen have built a deep friendship which has carried them through more than half their lives and encompassed "growing up" in almost every aspect of the phrase. Everything from finding love to enduring heartbreak, finding themselves, finding what matters to them, setting goals, achieving goals, and most importantly, recognizing the deepest love that was in front of them all along. Their journey has been long but fun. First they were neighbors in the Greater Hartford Area, where high school brought them together. Then both set off for college - Joe outside Boston and Jen in Syracuse. After college Jen settled down in Manhattan while Joe took a year to shred the pow pow in Aspen. He then moved to Chicago for a while before eventually making his way back east to Manhattan. Finally back in the same city again, the two decided to become roommates (platonic roommates of course) in the east village. Eventually Jen moved out west to California but it was only 4 years later that Joe followed and they once again became roommates (only this time, the romantic kind) and they set their friendship on fire! We hope you will join in the celebration of two best friends finding love in the most obvious place - each other. The two will wed on May 12, 2018 in one of their favorite locations in Russian River Valley.
